The big news today is that yet another data center has suffered severe damage—specifically, the one located in Vladimir. It went down so hard that the entire Russian segment of the Internet shuddered and toppled over.

In fact, Ukrainian forces had been launching attacks on Russian data centers even before this day (November 11, 2026); for instance, attacks were carried out against data centers in Sasovo and Kaluga between November 7 and 9. It is only now, however, that the impact has become noticeable. Many - if not all - Yandex services have gone down; personally, I’ve seen Metrica, YAN , and Webmaster go completely offline.

Yandex Metrica

Yandex Advertizing Network

Yandex Webmaster
I don't really rely much on Yandex—if at all. Sure, it's impossible to get ad payouts right now, but it’s not like I was earning all that much anyway. And don't even get me started on search traffic from Yandex—it averages just 10–20 visitors a day.
I imagine they’ll restore everything soon and redistribute the load to other data centers to keep things running. Then again, only 2 out of 5 data centers are left, so we’ll have to wait and see.
